Sometimes kids don’t make the wisest decisions. So, parents need to know how and when to help them. Since 1990, Primary Children’s Hospital has been doing the Hold On To Dear Life campaign, teaching parents the necessity of seatbelts, helmets, et al, to keep kids safe. The strategy: give parents that sickening feeling that comes along with preventable accidents. Then tell them how to never, ever have that feeling in real life.
